Our nitro chassis utilizes a lattice and truss style construction where the force flow has been extensively analyzed and any extra material has been removed. We’ve designed it to withstand a simulated impact of 2500 lbs. The deck and lower braces are super thick yet in racing configuration is significantly lighter than stock. This chassis has been optimized for the .21 engines. It’s not just another extended chassis. The chassis and lower brace system interlocks, forming a very rigid structure. No longer does you transmission hold your truck together.

The throttle servo’s position have been optimized for slide carbs and for superior brake control. There’s no possibility of getting brakes under full throttle (a common problem with the stock setup)

You may use all the stock components, or optional fuel tank, 5 cell hump packs, racing configurations, and more.

No special headers or pipes are required, there’s lots of room to mount any combination you like. We recommend RB’s or Ofna’s one-piece pipe (not really one piece but a sealed coupler), a beautiful polished aluminum pipe that works and performs great. The RB is a little more compact and performs better, though is more expensive. Some gearing limitations may exist depending on motor, pullstart size, stock or aftermarket tank etc.

Complete conversion with .21 and ALL stock components in place is 1.25oz heavier than stock. In racing configuration 5cell hump in place of TRX batt box, no rx box, no reverse servo it’s significantly LIGHTER than stock
32mm longer wheelbase.

Notes:
Requires Motor & Pipe & Air Cleaner. There appears to be a lot of variation in the mounting of the .21 engines. Kit has been tested with the following pull start motors:
Ofna/Picco .21 Sport (standard motor mount)
Ofna Hyper (standard motor mount)
OS .21 RG (standard motor mount with OS’s riser blocks )
Force P4 (standard motor mount)
Small Blocks (.12-.17) (requires mount #UE-NCH-M15)
Set up to use all stock components or 5 cell hump pack and/or Ofna’s fuel tank
If you have a stock Maxx everything else you need is in the kit
Non standard throttle servo may require a servo extension cord.
Some gear combinations may require changing the height of the engine to allow correct mesh.
