The wrap around is intended to work with Bushwacker (and other) fender flairs and protect the corner of the truck from incidents like the red truck suffered. With the flairs on, the flair should stick out a smidgen past the bumper. I have this style on my Toyota P/U and it’s saved it countless times. I hope you all like it.
Hitch is integrated. After my ‘12 receiver was twisted up like a pretzel when my wife got in a rear end collision I thought it’d be a good thing to have something beefier back there. It’s kind of like a ‘K’ where the rear most member is pretty similar to the stock receiver hitch and the legs of the ‘K’ are triangulating it. All 4 legs are fully boxed and the receiver portion itself is very beefy .500” steel. All in all, I’d say a LOT stronger than stock.
Integrated D-ring mounts for Ø.75 D-rings. These have a ‘lifting limit’ of 7 ton. Note: lift limits have a large factor of safety.
Integrated step along the wraparound and rear corner. 3.5” in height for the toe of your boot. IMHO this is the ugliest feature, but is very functional.
License plate is behind the rear valance so it gives a nice look. Plug location and tag lights integrated.
