If I where you I would put some plastic bumper mounts on that. When you wreck or land bad, instead of the ti skid bending and the plastic mounts bending, it's just going to send the shock straight to the bulkhead and could bend it.

Measure your G4 springs and put the thickest one on your SS. This will make a big difference. Also i second the notion to switch to plastic bumpers!! RPM makes nice looking ones.

I like these bumpers also, I bought a couple sets of them and they are cheap:

That Gen IV cleaned up great! Glad it arrived safely.

I see your point with the bumpers, and ofcourse know it is not so smart in a crash. This car wont be bashed though, and it will primarely be on the shelf, so no problems with the cool looking Hardcore bumpers.

I like the Proline bumpers though, so they will probably go on my upcoming Gorilla build.

Guess you are right. Have had many intentions of building me a great basher, but I allways end up with a truck like these, and the I am too much a chicken to beat it

Usually have something else around to beat though, but recently sold my converted LST/Aftershock, so right now I am without a basher, but it will probably not be too long...
