As long as hillbillys exist, huge ATVs will always be welcomed in the world j/k

Those shots look great Jim. Looked like a fun moto event. Nice facility too.

I didn't ask, but if you look closely, you can see the snorkels(SP?) overtop of the handle bars. Something like that would be good for the swamps and any area that has a very low water table...my guess.

They run mud bog races with them. Some of the racers from that series (ATV riders) came up and raced with us today, man they are fast.

800cc, it will run about 80 and will lay the power to the ground probably better than any sport quad.

The facilty is 2500 acres, it belongs to an attorney that my wife used to work for. One lap was 15 miles in the afternoon bike race. Those pics only show a small portion of the layout on the ridge. There are 5 total ridges on top that connect, and 3 of them were covered with campers (amateur racers) from coast to coast. Races are televised on Versus.

I love to ride off-road but there aren't any areas to ride by me anymore.I have to travel about 2 hours to ride.I have my quad in my garage that I run up and down my block every ounce in a while but I haven't taken it to ride in over 2 years.I also have a Suzuki DRZ 400s enduro that I ride around the streets but I sure do miss the off-road riding.

Have you ever rode on a Grizzly 660? Done 80 a few times on ours..can't' say it was all that enjoyable..its pretty sketchy actually... but it will do it. This was a few years ago..I am sure they have come a decent way since then.

Yeah actually I almost bought one Saturday. 65 tops on an 07. Unless you got a heck of a lot of work done to it.

Actually, top speed is meaningless in a GNCC event. The average speed is around 20mph for ATV's, and slightly faster for the bikes. It's all about athletic endurance, bike handling and durability.

80? yeah, its very possible. but the gearing on it has to be so tall, that bottom end just aint gonna be there like a sport quad. i could make mine hit 80, but why? i prefer the shorter gears, makes it more enjoyable.

the last thing i want to do, is 80 on a heavy as hell utility quad.

thanks for the pics jim!! looks like fun out there!!
They're paying for it, you eat it!
