    Xb8 Tq

Need some help on picking an engine for my XB8 TQ.I would like a 21 something easy to tune but enough power.I'm new at buggies and all I'm looking for is something to practice with and learn set-ups.Don't want to spend big $$$ just yet. Also I'm not sure what size the stock spur is but what CB should I get for it just looking for track racing only. What would be a good speed and oz. for steering and throttle.I'm thinking everything must be quicker than a MT.Should I go with pull start, bump or roto.
    Thanks

Ninja motor, 13t bell, UE or mugen clutch.

As far as servo's....it's basically take your pick, there's lots of them to choose from.

If you don't want to pay a lot of $$$ I run the D21B from STS....easy to tune...good power and you can get one on ebay for 140$USD shipped.

You could run the clutch that comes in the kit. Putting anything but a bump start in the TQ is like putting a Yugo in a Ferrari.

The UE 4 shoe 34mm flywheel is popular, I use it with 3.0 al. shoes .9springs on a .21..
BOOST!! The only replacement for displacement.

So when I get the UE 4 shoe the springs should be alright for what I need. Still looking for more input on motors that are not to much $$ I would like to spend about $200 for a starter/practice motor. Then when I know more about buggies I'll get something better. Thanks
