This all aluminum Chassis and conversion has been optimized specifically for the E-Maxx. The chassis is a lattice style where the force flow has been extensively analyzed and any extra material has been removed. We've designed it to withstand a simulated impact of 2500 lbs. 

When using the side by side battery configuration you end up with a significantly lower CG (stick pack configuration is lower than stock as well, but not as much as the side by side.) Heat dissipation with the side by sides is incredible, pulling a tremendous amount of heat away from your batteries. 

Batteries are normally mounted above the chassis, but we've also pocketed the underside of the chassis allowing you to mount your batteries below the chassis to achieve a very low CG.

Receiver and Speed control may be mounted in stock locations, but we've also provided you with mounting to reverse putting the speed control in the front and allowing you to remove 36" of wire and 4 bullet connectors for lower resistance and increased performance.

Our Titanium driveshaft kit has been proven the world over to take all the abuse you can dish out. Even withstanding the tremendous torque capability of Modeltech's Doolie Brushless system.

We've optimized the battery straps for the side by sides or the stick packs in two different strap designs. Since most of you run one or the other we'll offer separate kits to keep the cost down.

Why side by side packs are better. By Patrick Kivin of Ballastic Batteries

• Side by Side packs have lower resistance. Because of the way stick packs are connected between the cells and the wire and connector used they are  known to have more resistance than side by side cell packs. The more resistance the pack has the hotter it will get and the less voltage and runtime it will have.

• Side by Side packs have better heat dissipation. The hotter a pack gets the shorter it's lifespan will be.
• Side by Side packs will deliver higher amperage and longer runtimes. You lose performance from the batteries when it is in a stick pack form. Side by side packs use big silver or copper bars to connect each cell, stick packs use thin tin tab that's spot welded to the cells. Side by side packs have lower resistance which means more energy can get out of the cell. 

All this This means your truck will go faster and have allot more bottom end. You can also use bigger wire to transfer the power to the speed controller.

We can take stick packs and build them into side by side packs using silver bars and 12 gauge wire, double heat shrink and  prepped for the EXT Lightning chassis  for 8.95 a pack (connector not included).
